Well, I just majorly screwed up! The bride has been cooking for some folks all weekend and Ive resisted all things pasta and tortilla based. However, that simmering pot of pinto beans smelled great and I figured a cup wouldn't be too bad for me... note to self, ALWAYS look up total and net carbs before eating something you haven't logged before... I just had almost 2 days worth in one cup of beans. SMDH. But, for the record, damn they were good!

...and the bakeries...don't close. I have to counsel myself each and everyday. Facing the problem. Great! Your Keto - tip to check carb values BEFORE -so wise. Nothing quite like the School of hard knocks! Keep calm and Keto on. My best to you.

Beans and root veg were my main source of carbs before I found FS. Now what do I do with the stockpile of fresh dried beans?!

I gave some of my pasta and beans to the birds. They took it away...whether they ate it or feathered their nearby nests is anyones guess. LOL

Beans, potatoes, and RICE are major vices of mine that I am really missing right now. I'm a sandwich lover, but the bread desire doesn't compare to my want for rice. I'm now picturing a bird nest made from spaghetti noodles! =o)

These beans were $$$. Maybe care packages to vegan acquaintances? Or some really fancy birds. :-)
