This may be unconventional advice but if you are in good Heath and have no blood pressure or other chronic health conditions you could try extended intermittent fasting fasting every other day, just have some tea and water throughout the day and go out in the evening for dinner with your handsome friend and enjoy yourself. You could probably lose those few pounds in a couple of weeks.. when you get to goal, maybe 16/8 intermittent fasting may help you in maintaining along with your tennis. That way you can still enjoy your evenings out.
