Well I have started this day awful. First my alarm didn't go off, and I over slept. Then I realize my eye is swollen shut for some weird reason. I have not clue what has happened but my eye feels bruised. :( Then I went downstairs to make my lunch and was feeling so awful, I decided I will get something from Taco Bell's Fresco Menu. (okay on the BFC) But as I was drying to work I felt hopeless on this diet as I always start to get after a while (been on diet for 3 weeks=12 lbs lost) But for the last week, I haven't had any lose so I have been cheating here and there and I realize that is why I have not loss. But how to you get a hold of yourself and make yourself stick to it?? What do you guys do when you get discouraged???

Hang in there...it sounds like you are having a really bad day. When I am feeling down about my progress, I have to review, refocus and re-energize. First, I review what I did when things were going well - what was I eating, what exercise did I do, etc. Then I look at the weeks that haven't been going well. From this I learn the GOOD things to do and the BAD things to stop doing. Then I refocus - replace all the bad things with the good. This helps me get back into the swing of things and feel re-energized to continue. Remember, there are days/weeks that don't go well. If the weight loss is slow and you are doing everything right - I think sometimes our bodies need time to adjust occassionally to the new eating plan and exercise. Take a deep breathe...you CAN do this!! :-)

We all go through this. It sometimes thing get in our way. I knew last week I did follow the plan to the Tee, but I did try to make healthier food choices. I feel it takes time for change and doing small changes at first helps a lot. When I first started this change I satrted off just to jot down what I was eating and the see where I can make these changes. It hard to just saying I going to stick with it off the top. This is a lifestyle changes and you should be ask yourself question like can I keep this up for the rest my life, Can I commit 100 percent. You have to discover what is important to you and why. Also it is good to have someone near you such as your spouse who want to help you stay comitted. The Key is write down everything you eat and PLAN PLAN out your meals daily. Get a routine going. I hope this help.
