Hola Amigos!
So I am still not losing any weight but I'm okay with that. I have been working really hard and I know it's just a matter of time before I start to see the pounds come off again. I am motivated!! I went out and purchased the cutest little jacket about two weeks ago... when I bought it I could not even get my arms into the sleeves (imagine Chris Farley "fat guy in a little coat" LMAO) Okay, so that was two weeks ago. I went to the movies with my sweetheart on Saturday night and wore the jacket!! It fits like a glove and that alone lets me know that even though the scale isn't moving, my body is definitely responding to all the hard work I am putting in. I am THRILLED!!
Also, I am officially in a size 16 pants!!! I bought two pairs of size 16 slacks on Thursday and I am wearing a pair today (feeling super sleek might I add ) This is a major victory because in August when I first started this journey I was bursting out of a size 24 slacks!!
So to everyone who is struggling to get over a plateau... STAY STRONG! Do not be fooled by the evil scale! Your body will respond!! I cannot thank my wonderful buddies enough for the wise counsel and words of encouragement on this subject. I think we all should just get off the scale and start really paying attention to our bodies... judge your success by how you look and how you feel, not what the scale is telling you. The scale is not our friend people, it will lie to you and break your heart!!
