skewed scale's Journal, 25 May 17

I'm so nervous to meet Brian's family. They arrive here in 18 days for a weeks vacation. I know they'll like/love me but I'm still vain and don't want them to think I'm fat or see how large I am (especially compared to my super fit and muscular boyfriend...so jealous). I know I wont lose an astronomical amount of weight in less than 3 weeks but Im hoping I could at least be in the low 150's. It takes discipline and accountability though and I struggle with that. Yesterday he wanted to celebrate his promotion by getting pizza and of course I agreed and had 3 slices. I have to not give in. Just let him have it and stay on my meal planning. I'm going hard core clean eating for the next 18 days. already cleaned out the pantry and fridge. Plus I would like to wear a bathing suit and not be soooo self conscious around them or others. Here I go...

Don't sweat what family thinks... you do this for you. If anyone ever says anything about your weight you know you're doing something about it and once it starts showing everyone comes around to be supportive. Otherwise they just get it rubbed in their faces when you achieve your goals. Keep positive and stay strong.
