Thanks to all the encouragment here (it really does help!) I'm motivated and back on track. Yesterday I walked/ran 40 minutes on the treadmill and 10 minutes on the elliptical. Then took Herschel for his walk for almost a mile. Ate healthy foods - had a smoothie before my visit to the Y (gym) --made an eggwhite omelette with tomatoe and soy cheese. Had an apple for a snack. Then for dinner made a lasagna-type casserole and a big salad for dinner. I used brown rice pasta - no sugar tomatoe sauce - organic spinach, baby portabellas and tofu -got the recipe from a vegan website and made modifications. Today I'm working 3-1l shift and on call until 3 a.m...so going to take it easy on the "work-out." Maybe take the dog for a walk and take my leftover "lasagna" to work with me for dinner and some fruit.

Yeah, baby! PS you can't be down 9 pounds and be failing on a diet. Now if you were up 9 pounds...

Glad to hear that you are in better spirits and motivated. This site does really help - the people here are great and they/we all try to help each other to stay motivated. Good Luck - it sounds like you are on the right track again and you have a Great Weekend also.
