I hope today everyone will take the time to pat themselves on the back. We all know how hard it is to make lifestyle changes for a better way of life. If it was easy there would be no person with weight issues. However, this is one of the hardest things to do. So we work hard at it and once we congratulate ourselves on doing such a good job and then it seems there is a slip and we start over. I have the worst time on the weekend since I have more time to think about food and eat out of boredom and emotional eating. However, I am determined to get this right and stay on track. It is such an awesome feeling when not only the scales reward your dedication your body rewards you as well. It seems that my body moves more graceful, easier to walk instead of struggling for steps, plus the skin and flab feels different it is hard to describe. Sometimes, I look at my numbers and it seems like a drop in the ocean and I can get overwhelmed. Going forward I am concentrating on how a bunch of baby steps makes a BIG difference.
