I had a wonderful weekend! Watching movies and ate turkey sliders on Friday night! I had a couple glasses of wine, too. It was fun! Joe and I went to a friend of ours house. We cooked together, and it was so much fun.
We watched "Adventureland." It wasn't what I was expecting, but it was really good. We laughed a lot mostly at each other, and it was just a good night.
Saturday was laundry day and car cleaning day. I was left with a lot of clothes and a clean car. Hopefully, my gas mileage will go down, because I'm carting around less weight in my car. I felt fufilled after I cleaned my car. And now I go in it, I don't feel as confined as I once did.
Saturday, I went out dancing with my friends. The bouncer asked us why we were there because to him it was "freaks and weirdos" night, and we didn't fit in. I thought that was nice. No one really dancing except for me and my friends. But I danced for two hours!
Sunday was just relax day. I made breakfast, which I never do. I made lunch and then Joe and I went to my parents for dinner. I was nervous, because even though my mom has lost a lot of weight, she's just the old school of full fat cooking. There's nothing, "fat free," or "reduced fat," in her refrigerator or cupboard. There's real butter and whole milk, and while I love that stuff, I get nervous I won't be able to say no to it. However, for dinner, she made steamed broccoli, grilled shrimp (marinated in a little olive oil, garlic, and lemon juice) and baked potatoes. The baked potato made me nervous, because I haven't had one in so long that I didn't know what kind of damage it would do. And it wasn't too bad, I had a LITTLE bit of butter and sour cream, but not enough to do TOO much trouble.
Watching football pretty much all day yesterday, it was a nice chill day. And now back to work, this morning was pretty terrible, windy and raining. Now it looks like it's BEAUTIFUL out, so I'm hoping that I can get an hour walk in. I would LOVE to get outside, especially that despite the rain, it was over 50 degrees! Oh and this morning I was down.
I know my luck is going to run out soon, but I'll enjoy this decrease in weight, while it lasts. I'm working towards my 25lbs goal, and I'm only 8lbs away from my goal of being down 30lbs by Joe and my anniversary! Yay! I may have to update my mini-goals. I want to make them livable, and not crazy. Maybe just push it up a bit. In my mind I would like to be down 50lbs by the wedding I have in May.
Also, does anyone have any advice on how to lose inches? My pants size is staying the same and even though I'm creeping up on 25lbs lost, I can't imagine why my sizes aren't going down.]
Well, my 5.
5. Turkey bacon (yum!) 4. Warm weather 3. Trying to plan a vacation 2. Clean car, clean mind! 1. Not indulging my sweet tooth, even though I REALLY REALLY want to!
