So, I have been doing some research on Atkins. A lot of people criticize Atkins as high protein and high fat. As you know, I have not been doing Atkins for a couple of days. Check out my food journal. It turns out that Atkins is not high fat or protein considering the regular amount of food that people my size (300+) eat. When I am on atkins losing weight, I eat the same amount of protein and fat that I do regularly, but much less carb. Turns out it's not high fat or protein, but low carb with results...weight loss. I wasn't trying to conduct research, but now I do have the hard data thanks to fatsecret. Take care. Peace...
