Here is my fairy tale:
Once upon a time, there was a 50 year old woman who decided to go on a diet. Every morning, she would weigh herself and much to her delight, she found she was losing a pound a day. She never had any hunger pangs and none of her friends or family ever tried to sabotage her with carb laden cakes and desserts or homemade bread.
In fact, as the weight came off, she also realized that every two weeks, she became a year younger. No longer were her joints sore. She had so much energy to do so many things that others in the world were amazed just watching her.
After a mere two months of dieting, she not only reached her goal weight but she was also 40 years old again.
*************And then her alarm clock went off and it was back to reality.

Keep ditching the carbs, and it won't be a fairy tale any longer. Simple carbs are inflammatory to a lot of us! 2 months may be a fantasy, but the goal IS attainable.

There's an excellent book Draglist turned me on to - "Younger Next Year". It's got a version for women too. I recommend reading it, it has helped me a lot.
