A contest at my gym to loose 20 lbs in 20 weeks. We were told it was Feb that the weigh in's would be conducted. Just told yesterday that it is Monday. I am 5 lbs off from the goal. Would not normally care but if you loose the 20 lbs you get 5 free personal training sessions $275.00 value. The winner gets 20 free sessions. I am just trying to meet the 20 lbs that I will probably gain back right away from cutting water weight. Eating less then 1200 calories until Monday. The only bonus I see from this is that I did want to drop to 1800 calories a day and the cut will be easy now that I will be eating less then 1200 for a few days. I will also be hanging out in the dry sauna and working out like crazy the next few days. It will be almost like a true "biggest looser" experience. They are on 1200 calorie diets and work out 4-6 or more hours a day. Bonus, I did win the biggest looser contest at work it ended yesterday.

Took all the rest of this week off from the gym. Not feeling well, and have a rib that is out so that is painful also. Not working out makes me feel worse too. I have done some stuff around the house to keep a little busy and burn some calories, but I am sure I have gained a little weight.

I just saw your profile and am so proud of you! What a great job of sticking with it! I am scared to weigh in today. I kind of blew it this last week. I had lost 5 pounds, you would think that I would be inspired! Ah well, just have to keep a good attitude. Anyway, I'm impressed and inspired!
