The best plans can go to hell.... Yesterday I had left work early to get ingredients for a white chicken chili enchilada casserole before my workout, and prepped everything. Then the boy came over for a bit since he had a break between class and work. It was about 8 pm by the time I got it in the oven, and it had to bake for 1.5 hours. Went to take it out of the oven at 9:30.... and realized I never turned the oven on :( :( :( Angrily ate some hard boiled eggs and cottage cheese w/ pineapple and went to bed. At least I have a delicious looking casserole waiting to be baked after work today!
Grumpy now though since I missed my bedtime last night due to my screw-up, and had to go to crossfit at 5:30 this morning, since I have plans after work today. Coffee will be my friend today. At least my knee feels wayyy better! No more pain, but will still continue with the recommended stretches/exercises to strengthen it up a bit.
Excited for tomorrow though. Going downtown with friends for halloween bar-hopping adventures. I got one of the red dress uniforms from Star Trek TOS and a battery-powered tribble, pair that with some thigh-high black boots and it will be fantastic!
