I had some sticks in the beginning but didn't use them much. Never think about it anymore....

I do not measure ketones. I strive to keep my net carbs below 20 per day.

I got some when I first started but I never used them. I paid attention to my net carbs and fats. I found that if my fats got low it stalled my weight loss. You will find certain things that work best for you. The more real foods I ate the more I lost. Making the majority of carbs coming from veggies for me got the best results. You'll find what works with your body don't get hung up on the Keto sticks.

Ketostix vary especially if you don't drink enough water. I have found the blood test strips discouraging. I have wanted to try the breathalyzer strips. I was tempted to buy the electronic one two years ago, but even after waiting for them to improve the software and still no luck on that I haven't because I hear it's trash. I haven't tried the one time use breathalyzer strips. So far without testing and just paying attention to calories and carbs keto has been less stressful and disappointing this go round.

Thanks for the feedback everyone. Very helpful. I think I'll skip the keto stix and just keep my macros in line.

A little clear-thinking high, a spring in my step, sour mouth and no hunger = ketosis.

So if I have bad breath, I'm in ketosis?! Oh boy

I only use the stix if I've overdone the carb count for the day. Keto urine definitely has a distinct odor that you'll come to recognize. Keeping your carb count under 20/day will guarantee ketosis...period.
