I just downloaded the Calorie Counter app for my Droid phone. It gave me this web site to check out, so here I am. Ya know, I just might give this a go. I've been 'stuck' at 185-190 for a few years now. About 10 years ago my wife and I did the Bill Phillips "Body for Life" 12 week challenge, where I finished in the top 2,000 (for my age group). Given that there were thousands and thousands in the challenge, the top 2,000 wasn't bad. And, I got down to 174, my lightest in decades. But, it was hard, hard work, with daily workouts that lasted at least an hour (if I hustled). Now I'm not willing to devote so much time to working out, though I still do a ½ hr workout every day. I pretty much watch what I eat, especially on the road (I'm a truck driver). I take chicken breasts with me, hard boiled egg, salad, apples, and a Trader Joe's egg white salad. Pretty spartan compared to what most trucker's eat (and that's why they're all mostly over weight.
So, here goes.
