Apparently, I gained a pound over Thanksgiving week, which is unsurprising. I think I ate more sugar and carbs on Thanksgiving day than I have eaten in the previous 2 weeks combined. I woke up the next day with a "carb hangover", and felt pretty awful most of the day. I won't be doing that again any time soon.
I've been doing pretty well since then, and felt much better the next day.
