I don't understand where they got my start weight at 167. It is a little demoralizing to see a small loss on "paper" but know in your head how far you have really come. 23 years ago saw some major changes in my life. Surgeries, new locale, children getting married and most blessed of all, grandchildren. The surgeries and change of location really threw me in a loop. A loop that has taken me this long to get off. I am very stubborn aren't I? I have tried over the years to diet. We know now that was the wrong way. I do not know what flipped the switch. I had been going to a naturopath Dr. Peeled the layers of the onion back and for every layer I could feel myself mentally and physically getting better. But, I still did not get my head wrapped around the fact there were so many other things I needed to change. Last night was a very stressful evening, well, the whole day was. I could have gone out and ate everything in sight. There was a box of Sam's Club cookies sitting on the counter. There still is. That was a milestone for me. I fixed supper. Did not go out and eat everything and the box of cookies is still there untouched. I know this rapid loss is not going to continue but I will rejoice while it is. And later when I stall, I know "I CAN DO THIS".
