Once again I wasn't hungry until after 1:00 pm.

I tried the coffee with coconut oil for the first time. It sounds absolutely horrible. I put a little stevia in mine and it was delicious! I went for a 90 minute bike ride and thought I was gonna die! I cooled down in the pool and then laid in bed for a while. I figured I needed to eat something so I had a tiny bit of watermelon and 20 almonds. Washed it down with some iced tea with lemon and stevia - full.

Coconut oil has Medium Chain Triglycerides (MCTs) – which are fatty acids of a medium length. Most of the fatty acids in the diet are long-chain fatty acids, but the medium-chain fatty acids in coconut oil are metabolized differently. They go straight to the liver from the digestive tract, where they are used as a quick source of energy or turned into so-called ketones, which can have therapeutic effects on brain disorders like epilepsy and Alzheimer’s.
