Carbs do matter, at least for me, especially wheat and sugar. I can watch calories well, but if I have too many simple carbs on a daily basis, my weight stays the same or I gain. Back to being more mindful of carbs. I am experimenting with what works and what doesn't for me. I want a workable lifestyle and not just a diet.

I think carbs are my issue too I dont really eat any added sugar unless its a tad of honey in a recipe. I might start cutting carbs myself

Maggy, I understand!! One positive, the less simple carbs I eat, the less I crave them. My problem is just getting over that first hurdle.

Yes, lifestyle change is key. I also gain when I eat wheat or too much sugar. And I agree that books Wheat Belly and Grain Brain are awesome reads and good information.
