Exactly! I learned in my last relationship that some people actually want to be held onto, and can't stand 100% unconditional love. Freaky, but I kept true to my ideal of not needing him to be anything for me, and loving all that he his. He couldn't handle it.
But that's ok, because I enjoyed loving him, and letting him go.

I'm beginning to think that one of life's biggest lessons is just that..letting go. Of people, of things, and on here, of pounds! LOL I've found that I lean towards Buddhist philosophy. Things really are simply what they are, but our filters put meaning on them. When you can drop your beliefs about how things are 'supposed' to be, then you can choose how you want them to be. And the Universe can conspire to make it so.
