Well, its the end of the week and June is gone. Summer has fully kicked in here. I hope that everyone has a great weekend, and that all of my American compatriots have a fun and safe Independence Day on Monday. I worked as a volunteer at a charity golf tournament yesterday morning and by the time I was done at noon, I was incredibly sick. I don't know if it was dehydration, too much sun, or something that I ate on Wednesday, but I was completely under the weather. Since my caloric intake has been extremely low, I decided to carb load to see if I could purge and re-charge my system. It took about 24 hours, but things are getting back to normal. I was still too sick to walk or workout this morning, but I'm feeling fairly normal now. I think that I'll just fast until tomorrow afternoon to make up for yesterday. I finished June with a daily average calorie deficit of about 1,400. So I feel good about where I am and where I'm going. I don't think I'll make any big changes for a while. Just keep eating predominantly LCHF, with mostly low-glycemic carbs, and walking and doing Power-90 workouts (and of course the never-ending yard work) :-)
