well... I was talking to a friend as she is trying to quit smoking and making life style changes... so i told her what I do to try my best with smoking and I told her about my endeavor to lose weight.... I said I had lost 45 pounds since January and showed her a picture as proof saying if she really was serious about changing her habbits, I could tell her what worked for me......... she then stopped talking to me.... I understand people get busy... but i also know her... I think I was right with my original plan to not talk about this to anyone "close" to me..... guess it's my fault for expecting a different reaction from a friend of 18 years.

Its not easy being green...I love Kermit. YOU my wonderful and colorful buddy friend...are a great power of example...that alone helps your friend(s) and loved ones (and most importantly...helps you as well). When you truly love someone...you tell them what they NEED to hear...NOT what they wanna hear. I heard this one time..."You wanna know HOW to do anything...H is for Honesty, O is for Open minded and W is for Willingness...start there...and pray once in a while and don't be afraid to ask yourself (or someone else or your God...or anybody for help). Thats what your friend was doing...regardless of the outcome or time away...you planted the seed. And in time she will thank you for that. (or not). you did the right thing. Just keep doing the next right thing. your the best, your buddy Dave
