So after trial and error with other apps, I just downloaded FS. Have heard positive things from others and so far I like it! My weight-loss journey started Jan 4th of this year, and so far I am down 50lbs. Today I begin the Keto diet and I have heard this app counts net carbs, hoping this is true as that will make my life alot easier! Looking for inspiration and also to inspire others!

Nice work so far! Yes, you can adjust settings on your food diary to show net carbs.

Philmck has lost over 200 lbs on Keto, he's one of my go-to people. Alone 4 Ever is a hater. I'm on Keto too, congrats on 50 lbs!!!

I don't know why that guy continually bashes me, I think he's got a soft spot for food that used to have a face. I mean, Bambi made me cry, too, but that's when I was six. Country boy can survive.

Hey jendzen, I said this to a newcomer earlier today...there are amazing folks here on Fat Secret... folks who give back way more than they take away...in my humble opinion Phil is more a giver than a taker...if you are here for a while you will figure out pretty quickly who the folks are that are mainly interested in promoting their particular diet truth, not so interested in helping or supporting anyone who doesn't think like them...Take care and good luck! care and good l

Here's the real deal, for Jendzen or anyone else: What I may or may not have to tell you doesn't really matter. There's a ton of GOOD diet information FREE all over the internet, choose something you feel can work for you. But even that doesn't matter. What matters is HOW DILIGENT you are in following your chosen path and way of eating. What matters is HOW COMMITTED you are to sticking to your plan and not cheating, at least until you've made some significant progress. I can't do that for you, nor can anyone else, and for all the ADVICE anyone might offer, THEY'RE not the ones doing the hard work of staying within the parameters of your given path. THAT is the best and only advice I'll give ya!

Can anyone tell me why not consuming 200 cal a day I'm not losing weight? OK, I know it's LACK of exercise but I sweat so much as it is, just hate more sweating and continuing to contain lots of fluid. Open to suggestions!
