I had a small gain last Monday, so I was super excited to see a good loss this morning. I know that the scale is not the only way to measure victory, but man it sure does feel great when you see that drop on the scale.
My local Kroger has a HIGI machine, and I used it on Friday to check my numbers. I have decided that I'm going to start checking these numbers at the end of each month. Here are my results for 04/29/16:
Weight: 215 Body Mass Index: 31.75 (30 and over falls into the obese category) Body Fat: 40.82% (88 lbs) (greater than 32% is considered at risk) Lean Mass: 59.18% (127 lbs) Blood Pressure: 113/78 (normal) Pulse: 88 bpm (normal)
I know that these numbers are not great, but I also know that I can come back from them. I have a long way to go and a lot of work to do, but it isn't anything that I can't handle if I just stay focused and motivated. God has given me an incredible opportunity here to improve my health, my quality of life, and my mindset. He gives me strength, even when I feel week. As this journey continues, I will hold my head up high and be proud of my success and accomplishments.
Have a great day, buddies. I hope that all of you feel motivated and encouraged!
