Happy hump-day to all my FS buddies. I've been going through internet withdrawal. Our house took a lighting strike that took out the internet a week ago. I thought it was the router, so I drove to the nearest town with a Best Buy and got a nice new $200 wireless router. Turns out that its the Modem (I hope). Still waiting for that to come in the mail from the internet provider. May not arrive before I leave on my vacation. To make matters worse, I haven't been able to get online with my iPhone either. So, I've been living in the dark ages. I only get on-line when I go into the office. So, I'm playing catch up today and tomorrow, but if I don't resolve my phone/internet issues by Tuesday, I won't be on-line for most of May while I'm travelling :-( The week has been a good one. Stuck to plan: ate no carbs to speak of, and no high-glycemic carbs at all. I've been burning a lot more calories than I've taken in by leaving the riding mower parked and mowing 3 acres of jungle by hand. Saw the doctor on Monday to get some Tramadol for my knee. An old skiing injury has come back to haunt me. I'm putting off knee replacement as long as possible, so I hope the pain meds work. Well, back to work.
