NOT VEGAN at all I'm VEGETARIAN. I am seriously learning as I go, but today I learned I am vegetarian. Or following a vegetarian lifestyle. I am not against animal products. I do see eating meat though very limited.

Thanks so much for your warm and kind support. Today I got to ring in my first loss since I started four days ago. 2.5 lbs. I'm excited.

Being able to eat and snack and not have hunger is probably the best things and second best thing is seriously the cleaning out the fruit is doing. I went from constipated 2x a day to now I go with ease up to 4 x a day. That is wild, I've never had to evacuate that much. So, I am really liking that aspect.

Thanks again for your warm support and well wishing! I'm seriously excited. My daughter is getting married in 2017 and I want to look amazing. I have 101 lbs to lose. That would put me at 130 lbs. I wanna get there!

JOY!

I did the vegetarian thing for about a year in high school for a boy. Lol good for you if you can stick with it. I surely couldn't. Once he was gone so was my veggie ways.

Well first, congratulatitons on the loss and the regularity!! ;-) I love my fruits and veggies too. If you're inclined, do a websearch for farmers markets in your area. I'm a HUGE fan. Right now where I am we're kind of in between growing seasons so what's offered is a bit limited. And the prices aren't always better than the regular grocery (at least where I'm located) but its fresher AND many booths offer samples so you can get the items that taste the best to you. Nothing worse IMO than getting home with fruits and veggies and having them taste like cardboard.

I'm gonna echo Vickie on this one. Farmers markets are the best. Not only are you getting the freshest stuff available, but generally the pricing is pretty good if you actually shop around. I'm not vegan or vegetarian by any means, but I still take advantage of as much fresh produce as I can get my hands on. (plus we have a local guy that roasts coffee beans... its the best.)

Christinemeowk--I was also vegetarian for a year or so when I was young and dumb. I subsisted mostly on potatoes and mac & cheese! The smell of turkey at Thanksgiving converted me. Deborahg382--Sounds like things are going great. Keep it going! :)

I was a vegetarian through college and beyond. But I mostly ate croissants and drank lattes everyday. Plus beer... I never did the research and clearly didn't eat the things I needed and became anemic in the 5th year. I'm sure you will do SO much better. I do love vegan and vegetarian food!! There is a vegan place by me that I actually try to get myself there 1 or 2x a week because the food is so healthy, low cal, high fiber. There is also a raw food vegan place that I go to to expand my tastes. I get cravings for their "bacon cheese burger",m. The bacon is zucchini that is dehydrated with these crazy species. It doesn't taste like bacon - has it's own bewitching flavored that I love. Enjoy!!

Glad you're finding a way of eating that you enjoy. That's the most important part.

Im vegetarian/ pescetarian as I still eat some seafood and cheese. No other flesh goes on my plate which makes it hard to get my protein in and majority of recipes call for banana.. I have ac real HATE for those. Good luck
