My wonderful mister just went to the store and did me a solid. I asked him to drive my route around the block that I walk and find out exactly how far it is. He said it's a half a mile on the nose! I haven't gone out today, but I plan on going for a walk later after dinner. I feel a little less lame knowing the actual distance I'm going. For some reason I didn't think it was that far. I can't wait until I have enough stamina to go around twice in one session and walk a full mile. I don't think that will be too long from now. My legs don't hurt nearly as much today as they did yesterday.
