When I stepped on the scale at work this morning, the receptionist gasped. She said "there is seriously something wrong with that scale, you can't possibly put that much weight on that quickly." I said there wasn't. So we calibrated it and yes indeed it was correct! Then I told the receptionist that I wish I had eaten foods I liked instead. I'm happy I was able to stop the binge. Took 8 days, but I stopped it. I am able to pinpoint the trigger. I will tell you all. I heard that if you say it, the problem seems to disappear. Here it is: My whole life, I had never had anyone stand up to defend me. And, I do mean my whole life. When that incident happened last week, it brought back those memories because the police did nothing and another person who tried to hurt me got away with it. Today I am a stronger person because I had to go it alone. I am so happy to be a part of this community. Every one of us have gone through something terrible. The wonderful thing is that we are all here to support each other. PS: Thank you for defending me last week :) Love you all!

Your honesty and vulnerability makes you strong and courageous. You are helping so many of us with your daring truth & inspirational quotes. My friend explained "carb loading" to me this week... I am still learning, but perhaps the weight gains will decrease quickly since you have been training and know how to go into ketosis again. Fingers crossed for us all!
