Can anyone help me figure out how to know the calories in my home made foods? especially when the dish is broken down in serving sizes to eat later or other days?

I think you make a recipe on here and then a serving size.... I Donno... I guess you could make the recipe.. measure each ingredient and then weigh the whole thing and then the portion you want and do a bunch of math and become a physicist, count the number of stars, multiply them by 3.14 and finally you're too tired to care.

LOL@8hunter6. I used to know of a site where I could put in all my ingredients for something and how many portions and it would give you the exact readings for each serving. If I remember the site name I'll let you know.

Found it. It's called Nutrition Data. You input all your food and amounts and pick a serving size and it figures out the rest.

I measure each ingredient that I use in my recipe then I calculate the serving size and enter in my cookbook on My FatSecret and the calories, fat and carbs are done for you and you can log them into your food diary.
