I love gratitude week. I used to have a super stressful job, but one day had what was called a "baby stroke". It took this event in my life to stop and realize what a gift each day is for me. It completely changed my perspective on life and in regard to my expectations of myself and others. I'm more forgiving and patient, and just those two changes have made my life immeasurably better.
As for weight loss, I'm grateful for each ounce and inch lost. I set a goal to follow my plan as closely as possible, but realize I don't make the perfect choice each time. That's ok. I forgive, adjust, and move on. I don't judge other people when they don't make the right choices, either. It's their journey, and I trust they will figure it out -- or not-- either way it's my place to love, not judge.
Corny? Probably. Happier life? Most definitely.
I wish each and everyone of you happiness and also time to reflect on the many things in your life to be grateful for.
