Building that bridge is tough, but can be done. Just gotta remind my inner brat to not give up and visualize that body I want to wear next week. Thanks for all the great inspirational quotes.

You can work out like a beast but if you don't get your nutrition in line it is for naught.

When is comes to discipline, outsmarting my "inner rebel" has been the most challenging. That inner child is the tantrum-throwing type! @Lifesatrip - I really believe visualization is key in the process. I suspect part of the reason for my regains in the past is that I didn't "own" the lighter-weight body I was sporting as it didn't "feel" like me.

Trackin64, I think you are right. I had never thought of it that way. This is probably why I keep going over the the plus sizes when I am shopping to see what they have.

@Diehard3 - You have done so very well. Time to get caught up with the new SLIM you! I know you exercise - and I think that some types of exercise can be especially helpful in getting in sync with your new dimensions. Yoga comes to mind.

Thnx Sugar waffle, great quote!! Some definitions of Discipline; "self control", "self restraint", "to train oneself in a controlled and habitual way". All those definitions will help us stay the course towards a long term goal, especially when it gets difficult. My recently ruptured disk has made it impossible to do my usual daily workouts, so now I'm shooting for about 500 cal less per day on the intake side. Still the same goal, looking for long term, sustainable fitness & health.
