today i awoke feeling very energized dispite the horrid wet weather outside! it is now cool enough for me to wear jeans and i was able to fit into a favorite pair that didn't fit last year (i couldn't even button them) scale is at 159lb and i am estatic! it is definitely keeping me motivated. glad i have this site to record my food intake, cause i would have bet the farm that my caloric intake is over 2000 just by how satisfied i am with what i am eating! but my calorie counts are anywhere from 1200-1400 a day (on average) and i feel full! i made atkins low carb bread yesturday and made it savory by adding garlic and onion powder to it. it came out really good. even hubby said he liked it. it was my first time baking it, so now i can tweek it a little bit to make it even better next time. i wonder how it would be with just a little sour cream added to the batter? the only problem is the baking mix is expensive! on cape cod there are not any whole food stores that sell pre-made low carb bread! it is a big bummer! going to drive off cape today to a super walmart nearer to boston....wish me luck!
