Just got back from a work retreat in Miami and brought back a lovely sunburn with me. 😅 Regardless of this, it was wonderful to get away for a bit and take a break from my regular life routine. It was only 3 days, but I feel like I’ve been away for a week. I did indulge in food and drinks, and didn’t work out at all. It’s back to reality now and back to my healthy way of eating and working out. I got produce, tofu, shrimp, and chickpeas to meal prep for the week and am planning on going back to lifting weights 3 days a week and running 2 days a week starting Monday.

Mami, I was on the other side of Florida, actually quite a bit north, on the Florida panhandle. My sisters & I spent 6 nights @ Panama City Beach. The weather was wonderful! One short rain shower our first day, then sunshine.

Well if this if your first time in the open sun then I’m not surprised you burned! Even I would…. I think it’s very important to get out in the sun around springtime. Sorta like progressively overload on the sun 😏

That is great you had a wonderful time in Florida. Having previously lived in SoFlo for several years, the sun can be a pain. It is always good to get a respite from NY or northeast for several days even if the trip is for business in Miami. I was in that position also for several years when living in NJ outside NYC and also in Philly. The SPFs are truly important, and always wear it outside when in the sun.
