thiccmami's Journal, 02 Jun 24

Happy Sunday, all! I had a much better month ever since receiving some unsettling news at the doctors' last month. I've been working really hard on my WOE and I'm staying active every day - no excuses. I'm now averaging 4-5 workout days per week again - a combination of lifting weights and running with some yoga now and again. I can tell my body is firming up, I'm getting stronger, and my clothes are fitting much better. I stopped working with my coach and stopped weighing in every day because her advice was starting to trigger what I consider to be unhealthy behavior. It's hard work and it's hard to find ways to fit into my already busy schedule, but it's so much better than the alternative. I plan on weighing in in a few weeks and going back to my doctor for new labs.

I'm glad you are finding success with your new WOE and your new fitness schedule. It's definitely a process! I understand about trying to get steps in ..you know how much I work out but yet I struggle to get even 5,000 steps in. I've included walking at least 4 days a week to achieve that goal. Seems to me that our fitness journeys are ever changing, according to age, physical/ medical limitations, personal responsibilities, and such. I'm proud of you for making the commitment to improve before it gets more serious! 🩷👍💪

if you don't mind sharing, what advice was she giving you??? before pregnancy I had a nutrition coach, I expressed my disordered eating history and everything that my therapist told me not to do to prevent relapse, the nutritionist wanted me to do (eliminate and restrict, which can trigger disordered eating)
