what kind of surgery did you have on your knee?? i hope recovery is quick without much discomfort!

Dazey is well I had full knee replacement surgery done and Monday it wasn't bad pain because they had it numbed up and gave me good pain meds in hospital but by 11pm Monday night it had wore off and I started hurting bad they only have me on hydrocodone 5mg which isn't very strong my physical therapy guy came yesterday and said I was doing well because I could lift my leg up that I had surgery on and I had to use my hands to do it but still 90% of ppl can't lift it the day after surgery and then I bent it wrong getting out of the recliner and made it hurt really bad from 4pm on I had taken the pain meds every 4 hours and still am this morning it helps but doesn't seem to take away the pain like the oxycodone did they gave me in the hospital. Please keep me in your prayers for pain relief and a quick recovery... 

Yes, I'm praying for pain relief. Everyone says knee pain is especially bad! 

Sorry to hear your having so much pain Sara. Drs don't give out much for pain meds any more. Sending a prayer for you 🙏

I didn't realize you had the surgery! I know you waited so long for it. Have they given you more pain meds? How long were you in the hospital? Prayers for pain relief and complete recovery. 

Praying for pain relief. When I had surgery last July, I got out of bed wrong at one point as well and I thought I ripped my incisions open on my abdomen. I screamed and told the nurse to look because I was dreading what I’d see. Ha ha, felt worse than it was…Nothing happened at all. But that pain lingered for so long. I pray you will get relief. 🙏🏻🙏🏻❤️‍🩹❤️‍🩹 

Can you take ibuprofen w the hydro? Or even extra strength Tylenol? If so, do it. And keep taking them as prescribed. 🙏🏻for speedy recovery. 

Thanks everyone for your prayers and thoughts and support Wednesday afternoon once the Dr said I could take 2 hydrocodone 5mg every 4-6hr and ice the knee like I had been doing and rotate 600mg of ibuprofen every 4-6hr well took a couple doses of 2 of the hydrocodone 5mg and ibuprofen and by 5:30thurs morning I fell asleep since I had been in bad pain between 3pm Tues afternoon and I could have been overworking it to but that getting out of the chair is what made it worse for me so after all that and many prayers for God to take the pain away I slept from 5:30-8am Thurs morning and felt so much better with taking the doses I did but I know it was God who took the pain away for me. I had done my exercises 3times walking around and the rom tech machine for motion and stuff 2 times and was feeling good laid down in bed at 2pm yesterday and started hurting a little bit around 3:15pm so I iced it again and prayed for God to take it away and took ibuprofen a d a hydrocodone 5mg finally fell asleep for half hour and wasn't in pain no mote but even the pain I did have was just like a 2 or 3 level and God took care of it for me.i actually slept last night 3-4 hours and got up at almost 2am this morning Frida med time was at 3am but I made it til 3:30-3:40am before I went ahead and took a hydrocodone and had taken a ibuprofen around 2am so I'm feeling better and still praising God for the pain relief and recovery and healing process and for him to continue to keep his hands in me and me outta pain so I can do everything I need to do to heal up and get better soon. Thanks for your prayers and just keep praying for me to have the same good day I had on Thurs from 8am-2pm with no pain and feeling good.I called the Dr to let him know I'd run out of meds tonight sometime on Wed and then yesterday he still hadn't called in the refill but he may be waiting to call it in today I pray he does or I'll be without it and in more pain my physical therapy guy says I'm doing great and no swelling and infection and I have range of motion can lift my knee and leg and I will start to have stiffness around Saturday he will be back then and I pray I don't have any stiffness to I've had faith in God and praised him for everything as I know it's all Glory to him for me and helping me thru this time. 

Fritzy 22 I had surgery mon morning at 8:30am it took 2 and half hours because they had to remove the arthritis and bone spurs and then put knee joint in I woke up in recovery room around 11am and they gave me 2 oxycodone and a shot of dilaudid and the nerve block so I wasn't in pain after that. When I first woke up it was awful pain but they quickly got me meds and I did great physical therapy guy came and I whized right thru it and did great so I was released around 2pm and came home and worked all ay long exercises and the range motion machine and that night it wore off from anthesia and nerve block I started hurting but had already been taken the hydrocodone 5mg every 4 hrs o continued to work it good and walk every 2 hrs and then 3pm Tues is the problem I had getting outta the recliner and shot that bad bad pain in my knee I think I was doing too much too fast my physical therapy guy said slow down and rest it and walk around when going yo restroom and I have been doing it since Tues evening but until I got my aunt to pray for me and me continuing to pray for God to take care of the bad pain I was in tears and then taking the 2 of the hydrocodone 5mg Wed night early Thurs morning finally got my pain levels back down. THANK GOD FOR ALL THAT. IM WAUTING TO SEE IF THE SURGEON CALLS MY REFILL IN TODAY I LET THEM KNOW WED ID BE OUT TONIGHT AND THEN THURS THEY HADNT CALLED ME ANY IN UET SO I CALLED AGAIN AND THUS MORNING I WILL HAVE WALMART FAX OVER A REFILL REQUEST TO THEM AND I AM PRAYI G HE REFILLS IT , HE SHOULD REFILL IT.
