Starting Fresh and wiping the slate clean as I did nothing but yoyo in 2015 and i'm heavier now than I was at the start of 2015 . . 2016 will be my year. 3 stone to lose . . lets get going. Bought myself a Fitbit charge HR yesterday to help motivate me with the exercise. Also going to go back to Slimming world tomorrow night as I have found that going to a group helps me to stick to it . . (The fear of having to go get weighed!). Joined up for race for life in may . . it's only 5K which I can already do but maybe it will motivate me to get to the gym more and try to improve!Also a wee incentive going with my partner and a friend . whoever can lose the most weight in 3 months wins, the prize is based on £5 per kilo lost so the more kilos lost the bigger prize you get. Think it will help. Going to weigh in tomorrow after class then try and stick to only weighing in once a week after that. I am terrible for weighing myself everyday which does me no favours! Good luck for 2016 everyone. I'm starting this one feeling very positive.

Once a week weigh in is best. Step on the scales, first number that freezes is it. No "best of three", "best of five", you could be there all day!
