Day 5 of 60. Still on track (said with confidence) -- hunger pangs have stopped; made it through today with nary a thought of overindulging. Today is my badly needed only day off work. Instead of all the wonderful, fun things I could have done, I spent roughly 10 hours in front of the computer. First I edited the short animation our students made during Summer Camp. If I used Final Cut Pro more than once a year, it probably would have gone faster, but after 4-5 hours I finally got it done. Considering the amount of time we worked on it, I think it came out rather well. Check it out if you like. It is a bit of a bizarre story -- think Salvadore Dali as an elementary school student. AnimationSpent the rest of the day editing our monthly newsletter and then scanning and printing photos for my son, which will go in his graduation album. His hard drive crashed taking four years of photos with it, leaving him scrambling to come up with something to submit.

I think you need a day off to recover from your day off! I rather enjoyed the SCARY SOCCER animation. I see what you mean about Dali! Have a good week!
