Day 4 of 60. Still on track..., I think. I cooked a very tasty slow cooker beef stew overnight. The recipe gave it roughly 500 calories per serving, which fits my dinner plans perfectly. The only problem is that the recipe doesn't tell how large a serving is. It only tells you that the total recipe makes 12 servings. So how in the world do you figure out how much 1/12 of the recipe is? I guessed a serving is about a cup, so that is what I went with.

We also went to TGI Friday for lunch after work this afternoon. I hadn't planned on eating out, but was able to restrain myself -- a caesar salad and half a quesadilla. Then it was off to the gym and then home to edit photos from summer vacation trip to Yosemite. I'm extremely happy the weekend is finally here.
