Frank's is my hot sauce of choice, slightly more calories though so not the hack you're after I'm afraid 😳 my hack would be keeping a jug of water with a lemon cut up in it in the fridge, much healthier than squash and better tasting than water!

This is one of my favourites. Cook potatoes, then cool them down, then eat them cold or re-heat them. This is because, cooling them down lowers their glycemic undex so you wnt get the sugar spike. Its also forms resistant starch which is difficult to digest so you feel fuller for longer and digestion takes place in the colon feeding our lovely gut microbiome.

I recently posted about swapping out egg noodles to thai/rice noodles. Saves me calories!

@Anne I love that hack! It’s the same for pasta and rice isn’t it? Reheating them lowers the GI

Hi Gina , in your account settings you can choose whether people can see your diet calendar or not . It's kind of like making your FB account private .only friends can see your macro intakes etc .Hope this helps , All the best

I think so, Nutri. But I am not sure if this applies to brown rice/pasta or just white?

@Anne and Nutri I presume you ladies know this but rice is one of the food you have to be careful reheating especially after refrigeration . All the best

I wouldnt reheat rice that has been at room temperature for any length of time.

@Anne yes I believe it's after being at room temp not sure why I put refrigerated sorry . Strange though as a young man after a bottle of brandy and a few beers I'd eat last night's Chinese no problem - yes I was an animal 😂
