Just can't get back to this and keep piling on more weight!

Don't worry yourself about it, all you need to do is to write everything you eat down. That is the hardest thing to do. That exercise alone helps you immensely. It focuses your mind and when you reach for food or even sit down to dinner, you just need to say to yourself, I need to write this down. OK so the weight loss will not be drastic, but hopefully with your mind focussed in the right direction, it will help.

Thank you, I can do amazing during the week as I'm into a routine at work and I do write everything down but on a Friday night my boyfriend comes to stay for the weekend, we get a chippy and then the whole weekend is a right off, eating out. going for tea and cake . . I just seem to self destruct around him! I put my foot down last night and told him I won't be buying in any more goodies for him as I end up eating them! I know it's not his fault but need to do something . . if there's not bad food in the house I don't eat it! lol. Every week I have a good loss then at the weekend I pile it all back on and more. Very Very frustrating . . I have been doing this vicious cycle since June!

I am sure he will understand, particularly when you say you are doing it to be slimmer and fitter. :)

so on the 15 October you had lost 4lbs, now 2 weeks later you said you were back to where you started. What did you do differently n the last 2 weeks? You know the things that arnt helping you so that will be down to will power to cut them down. Also you say that through the week you can manage but its at the weekend. It sounds as iof its because you have more time on your hands. That and your boyfriend. Have a chat with your boyfriend, explain to him what you are trying to achieve, he could always have his treats before he sees you. Can I suggest that every time you feel like having a cheat snack, put on your shoes and go for a brisk walk. It doesn't have to be far just enogh to get you breathing up. This will increase your heartrate so therefore help with calorie burn but also will start producing endorphins into the body which is he bodies natural high, this will then take you mind of food, and get you a little fitter. good luck let us know how you get on
