Protein bars are essentially “fitness inspired junk food”. That said, I like the Kirkland brad ones from Costco, and quest bars. Rx Bars are probably one of the better options from an ingredient point of view.

I find when I feel hungry, I will eat a handful of raw unsalted nuts and drink water. If I have a sweet craving, then I will drink green tea. I find that helps me. I also read if you feel hungry to eat green beans. They are filling.

I don’t supplement with protein bars that often but I like RXbars…they are less protein than Questbar and others but natural ingredients and don’t have that chalky taste. Kind of reminds me of Eatmore bars.

Not sure if maybe a protein shake would interest you but I love the MRE lite brand and it does a good job holding off hunger while keeping calories low 😊

Shakes are a better option in my opinion. Additionally, you can mix the powders into other recipes to make high protein waffles, puddings, muffins, ice cream, etc.
If you want to try a bunch of flavours without spending a ton of money, https://ca.myprotein.com/ sells a bunch of different sample sizes. Just don’t ever pay full price on that site. They always have a discount code. 😉

I hadn’t considered using protein powder in a way other than a shake…thanks StomachMonkeys. And for the online site to try different kinds. I don’t wanna buy a large quantity of something I’m not fond of!

I find fiber fills me up better than protein. You might try upping that. When I eat a ton of veggies, it's hard to find room for a lot else

The big CRUNCH bars at gas station are really good. Typically 30g of protein. Lot of sugar though
