Tinausaf's Journal, 01 Oct 15

Well my first day with FS went pretty well. I'm still trying to maneuver my way around the site. Can someone explain to me what Kcal and Net means under the exercise tab? Starting tomorrow morning, I plan to start weighing myself each morning and log it in. I have a long way to go but I know I can do this.

Morning, KCal is a unit of heat equal to a 1000 calories so if you eat something that is say 200 calories it is 200 calories of heat for your body. A lot of folks don't realize calories are actually a heat measurement. And the net in the exercise portion is the number of heat calories burned for exercise, work etc. Hopefully I got this right and it makes sense if not I am sure someone will correct me. :) Yes you can do this.
