I am horrified by the number of carbs in green beans!! I grow them in my allotment and gave myself a nice big portion before checking....Jesus!! 11.3 grams!! A crap ending to a really effing crap effing day. Fuming :(

don't just look at the carbs, look at the health benefits, don't forget its also about healthy living as well. I love green beans, I can eat a plateful just on their own

I have just had a look at cab count for fresh green beans (used the atkins carb counter)and they say 100gms = 3.28 gms of carbs. Hope that cheers you up a bit

yes health benefits are very important but to lose weight, it always comes down to being in a calorie deficit. What i found helps me is to set my calorie and macro limit and stick to it for a couple of weeks. if my weight doesnt go down i simply reduce calories from carbs by 100 calories per day (700 per week). you wont notice this too much unless you are on a really low cal diet already. If that doesnt work after 2 weeks, then reduce again by 100 cals per day. Hope that helps

just set your gaze on the prize, picture what you will you want to look like and keep that picure and the feeling it gives you in your mind, stay positive, stay strong, rome wasn't built in a day - od don't you just love cliches
