I found out that I am pregnant again yesterday. So I guess I will need to switch my goal to maintain instead of lose. My real goal is not to gain much this pregnancy. I was only 132 lbs. when I got pregnant with my daughter four years ago. Then I gained 60 lbs. with her and 54 lbs. with my son a couple years later. Now I am close to 200 lbs. This time I want to do it right!!

I was 200 when I got pregnant with each of mine. I focused on eating healthy choices for their sake. I ended up gaining 25-30 for each but was back down to prebaby wait by a month after they were each born. It helped they were both just under 10 lbs though. My obsetrician was very firm about not worrying about my weight while pregnant though, since I would come in and be happy I hadn't gained (for the first 5 months or so). I assured her that it was the fact I used to eat what I wanted and now ate what was nutritious for myself and the baby and she was ok with that. The moral is think about nutrition not calories and weight loss. Congrats by the way!!!
