And will you eat it? It sounds like the very definition of ultra-processed food.

@Erika... honestly, I snagged the pic off of another social media site. Idk if it's real or not (probably so), but the point is that we should pay attention to labels.

Right, Jen! Have you read about the USDA approval of lab grown meat? I also read that in Finland, they are making crushed insect bread.

Most of the world eats “bugs” of one type or another because that is one of the food sources they have easy accessed to. Many types of bugs are huge protein sources. Most roasted bugs and spiders are just crisp and crunch, like corn nuts or peanuts. I have eaten my share of of creepy crawlies both cooked and raw. . You can buy many different kinds of bug delicacies on Amazon.

I’m glad mayo isn’t on my food list! I’ve never really been a fan. Only time I eat it is on a BLT.

I think this is a fake. Not really on their lable. I eat mayo in small quantities. We can choose to make everything from scratch or take advantage of some processed foods. Don't overdo it it on the condiments....eat mostly whole foods.

This is what it means. They are now labeling GMO WITH BIOENGINED [food that’s been previously known as a GMO or genetically engineered food will have a new “Bioengineered (BE)” label.]

@SherryeB it's really on the label, my dad showed me a couple of weeks ago. I don't eat mayo very often, I usually use butter and garlic instead. @Kenna that's pretty cool and badass!

Well, I eat Kraft Olive Oil Mayo. That's not on their lable. I don't eat a lot of it. I reduced a lot of condiments due to high calorie content.

I've never tried the olive oil version, might move to that the next time I buy a jar. Congress keeps messing with food nutrition labels, they should be honest and transparent, unfortunately lobbied interests want them vague and confusing.
