Hello all of my buddies. I have been absent and the scale shows it. 176.3. But only 3 pounds which I wont be losing sleep over. I have an exciting adventure I want to tell you all about. My husband and I are going to do a year of eating only local foods, and we live in the desert! I'm going to blog about it so when I get it started I'll do a link. But I also want to keep a presence here because it will be interesting to see how the calories stack up. We'll be doing no processed foods at all, except for a very few that are made in our home state of New Mexico. We will be eating only foods either grown or made here by mom and pop type places. In other words we will have the occasional piece of pie or burrito. Hee. But mostly we'll be eating local meats and vegies, apples, pecans, green chilis, eggs, greens. Oh my, what will we be living on I'm not exactly sure but we have year long farmers markets here so I'll keep you posted. Let's just see how this looks after a year on the scale!
