Mt. Dew is poison; so glad you kicked that out of your system. Your teeth and sleep will think you.

Sorry you are having TOM pain Sara! I'm five years Post menopause and I don't miss it at all. I had that god-awful pain and major gushing for 10 years and all the gyno's would say was that it was my natural aging and learn to live with it. This lack of concern by my doctors caused me to have undiagnosed endometriosis, which ultimately is the cause of me having a colostomy bag now,

thanks Erika and Debra yes I have had PCOS since I was 15yrs old I remember until I was age 25 I would have a 21day cycle and gush like crazy got put on birth control and it lined out til 7days and quit them after a year and then I have always had a 7day period but with the worst pains I've ever had in my life. I have actually prayed for God to just take it away for good I'm 45 and have the hot flashes and other perimenopause symptoms anyway so hopefully it won't take forever for me to get through it and be done with the monthly cycle. Drs says oh it be ok but it's not okay I'm going to look into maybe have a hysterectomy done since I was never able to have kids of my own and I have a step daughter and maybe it will help me. when I was 17a Dr told me then I would need to get one done and probably won't have kids well he was right about the kids and I think he is right about the hysterectomy too. if he hadn't passed away I'd go back to him it's hard finding a good Dr who listens.

Debra I'm sorry you had Drs who didn't listen to your concerns and then it caused you other health problem like that colostomy bag. it's like Drs don't care anymore like they used to years ago and they just want to get paid for you to be in the office less than 5min but not actually help us. I also have Fibroids and it's worse bec of the PCOS and that's why this week I know I will be laying around not able to do much it's been years like this now. My Drs says it is okay. Right maybe one day I will find a good Dr who will help me.

Just FYI if you have fibroid and excessive bleeding, you might want to look into an Embolisation process. I went the hysterectomy route at 45. Wouldn't do it again if I had a choice. I found out about the embolisation too late for me but recommend a good friend look into it before her hysterectomy. She found it to be the solution to all of the symptoms she was suffering. 8 years later she's naturally thru menopause. Recovery is 2-3 days and no surgery. Not for everyone but sure worth a look.

Saranchrisriley, hey girl, I got a hysterectomy at 40 and my symptoms weren't as bad as yours, I'm surprised you are just now considering it, but ya, thanks to God for a step daughter. Shoot for a robotic hysterectomy from a surgeon that has done at least 100 robotic hysts.... say it just like that. Prayers for you to be pain free 🙏💖💗

Hope you heal up so fast. Cramps are mo fun! It’s eye opening when you start understanding the composition of so many foods and drinks isn’t it.
