🐄🐄🐣🐣Okay, Erika, Zenus, Dirt Road, and Other Carnies:

1. Do you have to make meals for others? If so, how do you integrate it with your carnivorous challenges?

2. Do you put seasoning or condiments on the meat? 🍗

3. What would I do with eggs and cream? 🥛🥛

4. What do I put in coffee? Normally it’s monk fruit and a sugar-free creamer. I don’t/won’t drink black coffee. ☕️☕️☕️

5. Do you have cholesterol or clogged artery problems? 🩸🩸

First of all, I should explain that I normally do more of a ketovore diet. I am currently experimenting with the carnivore through a 30 day challenge. It is supposed to be Beef, Butter, Bacon, and eggs (and organ meats) only. I did extremely well following the guidelines of the challenge the first week. I only used salt for seasoning. I lost 5.6 lbs that week. The second week, I ate on plan except I added other no sugar seasonings (like onion powder, garlic powder, and black pepper). I also had a low carb salad at a restaurant last Saturday afternoon (which caused a 1.4 lb gain), and some queso chicharrones later in the week (which caused a 2 lb gain) -fluid/inflammation, I guess. I cleaned it up & was able to get back to the weight I had the previous week 6 days later. Then, I went to the gym for the first time the day before official weigh-in day and had a small gain. Also, TOM came to visit the day before official weigh-in which probably caused even a little more water weight.

1- Yes, mainly on the weekends. Simple, cooked the family the sides, but don't eat them. Even if cooking a roast with potatoes, etc. you can cook the meat and pour the juice off when the meat is finished and cook the potatoes, etc in a separate pot. 2- explained in previous comment. 3- look for recipes on Google. Make carnivore ice cream...lol. 4- I drink it black, mostly. Sometimes I use grass-fed butter, coffee + butter in a blender for about 30 seconds. Many use heavy whipping cream. Sweeteners really aren't allowed on carnivore, but do what you've gotta do. The best artifical sweetener to date is stevia. 5- I haven't had blood tests this time around, but years ago I was eating the same way & did have blood tests. EVERYTHING improved. My good chorlesterol went up & my bad chorlesterol went down so much so that I actually avoided meds for it. I also came off of high blood pressure meds & antidepressants. The ketovore diet got my anxiety under control & I was no longer pre-diabetic.

There are three main Carnivore Diet variations, including hardcore carnivore, standard carnivore, and keto-carnivore. Of the three variations, hardcore carnivore is the most strict, while keto-carnivore is the most lenient. We've found that most people tend to fall somewhere between standard and keto-carnivore. https://peopleschoicebeefjerky.com/blogs/news/the-ultimate-carnivore-diet-food-list#:~:text=There%20are%20three%20main%20Carnivore,between%20standard%20and%20keto%2Dcarnivore.

If you are worried about saturated fat, you really should research "Ancel Keys 7 year study" that led to the low fat revolution & the effects it has had on society.
