Calorie count higher than I would like today, but good otherwise. Knee is still healing. My father started hospice today. The cancer treatments are no longer working. Spent the day on the telephone with my mom talking her through what to expect since I recently went through it myself. Now we pray, wait, and support. I told them to get all their final arrangements squared away while Dad is still alert and able to decide how he wants to settle things. The cancer has pretty much spread everywhere so no idea how long he has left. Maybe a few months. We'll just have to see.

Thanks everyone for your support. The family is doing fine so far. Since I just went through the hospice thing myself with my wife, I'm at least able to help my mother through as well. 2023's been a tough year so far.

Thanks again everyone for the support. At least by getting Dad into hospice, he and Mom will get the support they need while they're going through everything. It really helped when I had to do the same thing with my wife, Lori.
