This is the very 1st ride where I felt bad when I finished.
Going to have to ease up. I have to also reevaluate my position on how much I'm going to ride.
The conditions weren't ideal either, 80% humidity and the temp this morning when I started my ride was 82 and finished at 87 degrees.

I rode with MapMyRide! Distance: 37.05mi, time: 02:26:48, pace: 3:58min/mi, speed: 15.14mi/h, Calories burned: 3260

My ride this morning

I think the temperature had a lot to do with it. Summer is far from over.

Your dedication is admirable -maybe give one day break? I used to run in humidity when I was young...now I am more cautious about outdoor activities.

Wow, sorry to sound stupid, but I had no idea that you could burn that many calories on a bike. Amazing.

Temp + humidity can be brutal, especially for such an endurance sport! Hang in there, listen to your body and make adjustments as needed.

It took me a couple hours to re-acclimate myself. Not a good thing. I feel great now. I am proud of myself though :) My step daughter manages Old Navy and gave us a call, store wide sale. I went and bought some new shorts I was a 38 bought 36's and they are a tiny bit loose! Woot!
