It's weird ... so I feel like I've changed, the scale said I lost 2.2 pounds, but the pugde is still there and it seems really slow going. This is the first time that I have been consistent on a diet and an exercise routine, but after a few weeks when I look in the mirror I don't really see a change. I know all those shows like Biggest Loser have more time and its great when they lose a large number at the weigh in. I'm just wondering why is it taking so long for bigger numbers? I think it's too early for me to be stuck.

Ok ok, enough wondering and whining, everyone is different, I know, I know. Back to work and trying to figure out what's for breakfast since the job microwave is not working and I can't have my oatmeal today.

You are losing fine. Shows like the Biggest Loser make us think we should lose like them, but most people lose a pound or two a week, so you are right where you should be. Make a commitment to yourself and keep going. It also takes time to see a difference in the mirror. We are our own worst critics.

Thanks Suzi161! A coworker said the same thing to me this morning about questioning my stagnancy. I'm just amazed that I've stuck to this life change for 4 weeks! That is something for me!!
